Announcing the Super Pony! DVD Release
The day has finally come! It’s time to announce the official release of the brand-new Super Pony DVD, staring the talented Minnow from Painting Pony and his sidekick, Ammo the Dachshund!
Thanks to my talented brother and Depthink Productions, we began filming for the DVD this past summer, and I’m so excited that it’s finally ready to share with everyone! I think everyone will really enjoy getting to learn more about all the ponies and watch several of Minnow & Ammo’s favorite “super” performances.

ON THIS DVD
Trainer, Kyley DiLuigi, introduces us to Super Pony, the alter ego of the talented Chincoteague Pony, Minnow! Watch as he shows us some of his favorite trick performances, many of which have been performed at expos, fairs, schools, and even the Annual Chincoteague Pony Penning. Several performances also include Minnow’s lovable sidekick, Ammo the Dachshund, as well as other members of the Painting Pony crew. In addition to 5 featured videos, this DVD also contains 2 bonus videos: a visit to Iron Horse Farm, home to the Painting Ponies; and a talk given by Kyley about everyone’s favorite Chincoteague Pony, Misty of Chincoteague.
PAINTING PONY
In 2007, Painting Pony was founded when Kyley DiLuigi decided to bring her paints from art school out to the farm where she kept her 14-year-old pony, Minnow. That cold winter day Minnow became the World’s First Painting Chincoteague Pony as he created his very first masterpiece. As it became evident that Minnow had a gift that he truly loved, the paintings he created began to pile higher and higher. Feeling the need to share Minnow’s art with the world, Kyley started PaintingPony.com and the rest is history!

Ammo the Blogger
For any of you that follow the Trick Pony Blog, you then also know of my little Dachshund, Ammo. Ammo is my constant companion as he works with me, patrols the farm, and sleeps soundly in my living room at home. Every opportunity I have, he’s with me. I can probably count on one hand the number of times he’s been left home alone.
So since Ammo is such a huge part of my life, I finally decided it was only fitting he got his own Blog. With a little push from his adoring fans on facebook, AmmotheDachshund.com was launched a few days ago.
So if you like Dachshunds (or dogs for that matter) and you’re not above reading the musings of a feisty little Doxie, then head on over to his Blog. I promise you, he will keep you entertained!
Ammo plans to post something new every weekday (I think his entourage would riot if he didn’t). He even has some exciting giveaways planned (the first one being this monday).

Stuntdog
Ammo the Dachshund has his VERY FIRST performance tomorrow at the Keystone Dachshund Races. I don’t know if he’s nervous, but I’m nervous for him. We’ve been nonstop practicing his tricks all week, and I think he’s pretty prepared. Ammo is a little bit on the shy side (although you would never guess if you follow along in his adventures on Facebook), so it will be a big surprise to everyone what he decides to do as the center of attention in a crowd of Dachshunds.
I’m pretty confidant he will know just what to do! (or at least I hope!) During his performance Ammo will also be creating one of his original scratch art pieces which we will be auctioning off to benefit the Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue.
Oh and not to forget Ammo will also be racing! Last year’s performance was a little bit embarrassing for him, but in his defense he was only about 8 months old, and he had no clue what he was doing. This year he’s a year older, and a year more confident. Not to mention he passed his level one training class and he’s nearing completion of his level two training. I’m so proud of him!
If you are in the area tomorrow be sure to stop by the races (even if you aren’t owned by a Dachshund), its sure to be a good time, and the profits benefit a good cause.
