Holiday Cards
After helping Ammo the Dachshund design his Christmas Cards for this year’s Holiday Season, I realized that I had neglected to help the ponies with their cards. So after a little brainstorming session with the boys, we came up with two fun designs for this year’s cards.
This card set features a selection from three different paintings by Chincoteague Minnow. The inside greeting says: May your Holidays Sparkle & Shine.
This card set features a selection from a Holiday painting by each of the ponies and the inside greeting reads: May all your Holiday wishes come true

November Paintings
On Monday the boys were able to break out their paintbrushes again. All three ponies painted two canvases each – all of which I love! We got kinda onto a “girly kick” with the colors, but after all who loves ponies more than a horse crazy little girl? And to top it off, the boys even broke out a bottle of glitter for the first time! I love how it gives their paintings a magical feel. Do you have a favorite?

New Paintings & Cards
Fall (along with winter) sometimes proves to be a difficult season to paint with the ponies. Not only is the weather unpredictable (rain & snow) – but the cold sets in. While the cold proves to be no deterrent to the boys, I on the other hand suffer from cold fingers and an overall lack of motivation to lug out the paints and easel.
So as we head into the cooler weather, the number of new paintings the boys do will begin to dwindle as we all prepare for a “hibernation” of sorts. We’ll do our best to keep the paint flowing!
Here is one of Chincoteague Minnow’s latest paintings, “Whispering Wind“.
Ammo the Dachshund launched a new line of Christmas Cards with his adorable mug on the front. These have been selling rather quickly, so if you have a favorite, stock up now before they are sold out!
Labor Day Paintings
Chincoteague Minnow & Ammo the Dachshund went to the Ludwigs Corner Horse Show & Country Fair on Saturday to entertain the crowds. It was a beautiful day (except for the horrendous winds from Hurricane Earl), and Minnow created 6 new paintings.
I thought by mid-day, when Minnow usually takes his afternoon nap, he would have grown tired of being pet by strangers, performing tricks, and painting, but Minnow was up for the task. Every time I brought out something new for him to do he was more excited to perform than ever.
Even Ammo the Dachshund happily jumped through his hoop all day long, and played dead like a pro.
At the end of the day Minnow had 6 new paintings, one of which I gifted to my mom for helping me out all day long. All the paintings created by Minnow that day are now available in the online shop! They make a great end-of-summer treat for yourself, or an amazing show n’ tell piece for your kid’s back-to-school! 🙂 Enjoy!

End of Summer Paintings
On August 16th we had another group of pony campers come out to the farm. The ponies always know when visitors are coming because they all get baths, and I begin filling their small paddock with all of their trick paraphernalia. And then the painting easel comes out. Heads perk up, and the ponies peer over their dutch doors in the hopes that is their turn to paint today.
Sorry Boomer and Blitz, but today was about Minnow – the very first (and my personal favorite) Painting Pony. Minnow would stand at that easel painting for days if I let him – unfortunately for him we only had time to make two paintings. “End of Summer Blues” and “Purple Lovelies” are now available in the shop. Minnow also painted a few new mini 8×10 paintings too! I love his bright colors, and how every one is always different, it’s like a magical surprise.
